I love it when a project mixes thoughtful artwork, steampunk keyboards, swirling projected lights and a little augmented reality pizazz.  Really, why isn’t this done more often?

Cue the funky music.


The artists Gabe Shaughnessy and Dan Cohen aim to:

to help people understand the effect they have on the watershed, and to understand a bit about the delicate nature of their surroundings at Symbiosis Gathering

If only all augmented reality applications transcended their techie roots to become beautiful environmentally conscious artworks.  We wouldn’t have to worry so much about hype then.
