While Google Trends still continues to drive upward as augmented reality gains more visibility, this week has been surprisingly quiet for any real significant news about AR.

The video shown here isn’t giving us anything new, but the quality is worth showing.  The “interaction” is a nice trick that I assume uses the “percentage of marker seen” to let the metaballs know when to move.  So its not interaction in a hand recognition manner, but it does give us a good visual of what that would look like. 

Given a few more degrees of interaction, I think the metaballs could be a fun distraction on a rainy day.
