Warning! The video contains a Japanese anime AR cutie.

Over on Spill they bring us three videos.  One is the Eye of Judgement video that has been seen many times around various AR sites.  The middle AR anime video shows us how simple markers can be used to interact with an AR desk toy girl.

I’d translate the Japanese, but mine isn’t so good and she talks so high and fast I can’t keep up.  The only parts I got were: “Hello my name is…”, “Stop touching me”, and “Ohh.. a present.”

This product would be exciting for young girls even though it doesn’t do all the much (at least that I could tell on the video).  It shows promise for widespread use if one can make the AR desk pet truly engaging.

In the future, our imaginary friends will be real and bothering on our desk while we’re trying to get our work done.
