I’m a believer that most habits in excess are generally a bad thing, but do I really need to be warned about them?  Slippery slope arguments are one of the lamest logical constructs used and the makers of this video flash a few AR, robotic, and toy animals; and then warn us that AR is a bad thing.  Robot toys have been available for a decade or so and I don’t think pet sales have gone down. 

Having been told that Dungeons and Dragons was bad (thanks alot Tom Hanks), and then video games, and now augmented reality, I’m on the skeptical side.  I absolutely agree that playing outside with real animals is a good thing, but I’m still excited about buying a Sony EyePet for my kids.
