i downloaded V2.0 yesterday, the full ops. version. They said that the demo version 2.0 is scheduled in 2 or 3 weeks from there website. You can download V1.0 as noted above from there website www.metaio.com .
Since, like most of you, my acspectations are very high, but without an extended manual i`m stil in fiddling-mode with it.

BTW, if there is anyone who would make another video of the basics, but with better screenshots keep me posted!!

have a good one,

Well, this is just the demo version, so you can't add anything custom to it yet. I don't know if it'll support flash additions in the real version but for now it doesn't. I can poke Jan to stop by and answer your question though.

I think the software has loads of potential. Its been easy to work with, even without the full documentation available. I have addtional videos I'm wanting to do, though I can't quite get my ambitious ideas to work, I think I'll eventually figure it out.

I would at least recommend downloading the demo and playing around with it. I'm sure they'd like more opinions on the software, since I don't think they're done developing it yet.

How does this compare to the flash-based AR Toolkits? I have been playing around with Squidder, but most of the AR software is still quite beta.

What I would like:
1. Upload 3D image / avi movie into the program.
2. Upload marker into the program.
3. It spits out a flash file you can put on your website which loads the 3d image/avi upon recognizing the marker.

3 step, simple process to creating AR.

Hey there,

as Unifeye Design is supposed to be a tool for non-programmers, it does not contain a programming interface. If you are looking for that, please check out www.metaio.com/products/sdk

There also is a whitepaper about the "full version".

Best regards,
